Lamborghini V12 soundtrack lives on through vinyl

The Italian supercar maker has announced a collaboration with Technics, a company specializing in DJ vinyls, among other things. They will be releasing a series of retro turntables stylized after Lambo’s V12 engines, complete with vinyl recordings of their sound.

Both modern and classic Lamborghinis will be sampled for their engine rumble for this project. The vinyls will be sold bundled with a pro-grade Technics SL-1200MK7 turntable. Every example will be adorned with Y-shape patterns traditionally associated with Lambo supercars. The buyers will be choosing from three main colors – orange, green and yellow.

Six engine soundtracks have been sampled for the collab – those of the classic 400GT 2+2, the gorgeous Miura SV, the Countach 25th Anniversary Edition, the Diablo 6.0 SE, the Murcielago LP 640 and even the latest Revuelto hybrid. The recording itself is stylized as a Lamborghini wheel and should look great as it rotates when you play it back.
