2027 Toyota Yaris Cross unveiled in Europe

The facelifted Toyota Yaris Cross will soon arrive in the Old World countries sporting a revised exterior and some new trim options, but no new engines or tech. Sales will start in the summer, with all prices yet to be announced.

Compared to the previous facelift of 2023, the new Yaris Cross features a revised, bezel-free radiator grille with a sparse honeycomb pattern. The front bumper has been revised as well, and the DRLs are now n-shaped instead of straight. Buyers can choose from a wider variety of exterior finishes and new 17- and 18-inch wheel options. Like before, you can opt for a package called GR Sport to get extra aero parts, distinct 18-inch wheels and sportier suspension settings.

The interior layout and appearance stay the same. There are a few new trimming options on the list, and that’s about it. The sport seats are also now available in the second-best trim, as opposed to just the highest one.

Power for the EU-spec Yaris Cross is still provided by a hybrid system comprising a 1.5-liter three-cylinder engine, a single e-motor and a generator. The base spec outputs 116 PS (114 hp / 85 kW) to the front wheels, while the top spec ramps up the output to 130 PS (128 hp / 96 kW). All-wheel drive is available via an additional front axle e-motor. Just to be clear, though: the Yaris Cross is no off-roader. The only reason anyone may want AWD in it is to have a little bit of extra stability on slippery road.

The pre-facelift CUV is obtainable in France starting from €28,800.
