Alfa Romeo Giulia & Stelvio make a brief comeback

The Giulia sedan and Stelvio SUV are once again available for ordering in the range-topping Quadrifoglio spec, but availability is limited.

The so-called Collezione edition will be offered in Europe, Middle East, China, Japan and select African countries. Only 63 sedans and the same number of SUVs will be made, a reference to the year when Alfa Romeo brought its racing know-how down into its street-legal lineup under the Quadrifoglio (Italian for “four-leaf clover”) badge.

You can recognize the special edition by its rich red exterior inspired by the 33 Stradale, a carbon-fiber body kit and a lightweight roof made from the same material. Interior additions boil down to carbon-backed Sparco bucket seats and commemorative plaques.

The 2.9-liter V6 stays at its usual 520 PS (513 hp / 382 kW), and Alfa Romeo doesn’t mention any suspension tweaks, either. On the upside, carbon-ceramic brakes and an Akrapovic exhaust system are included as standard.

Considering the ongoing financial and managerial crisis at Stellantis, it is hard to predict what future holds in store for the Giulia and the Stelvio. Both are arguably overdue for an update, but most observers agree that it won’t happen until at least 2028.
