Just a few days ago, Alpine introduced a high-end ‘R’ version of its A110 sports car. Now, the newcomer has received a limited-edition spinoff celebrating the successes of the legendary racing driver, Fernando Alonso.
Only 32 units will be made, one per each victory claimed by Alpine in recent history. All cars will be adorned with a contrast-rich exterior in blue and black, as well as the driver’s signature.
Power will originate from a standard 1.8-liter gasoline engine rated at 300 PS (296 hp / 221 kW) and 340 Nm (251 lb-ft) of torque. The sprint time is manufacturer-rated at 4.2 seconds to 100 km/h (62 mph).
This is not the first car dedicated to Alonso: a while ago, Ferrari released a special 599 GTB series dedicating it to the Spanish star driver.
