To celebrate its 110th anniversary, Aston Martin has designed a new front-engined supercar named Valour. In all likelihood, the base vehicle is a V12 Vantage, but the company never directly states that.
The newcomer flaunts original all-carbon bodywork and has an overall design inspired by such classics as the V8 Vantage and the Le Mans races RHAM/1 Muncher and DBR1. It also borrows from the more recent One-77, Victor and Valkyrie. The main new features are the headlights, the hood with its horseshoe-shaped air intake, the prominent diffuser, vented front fenders and three exhaust tips.
The interior is also new and trimmed with tweed and carbon with configurable accents of nut wood, titanium and aluminum.
Power comes from a 5.2-liter V12 rated at 715 PS (705 hp / 526 kW) and 753 Nm (555 lb-ft) of torque. A six-speed manual transmission delivers the momentum to the wheels.
Only 110 units will be made. The prices remain undisclosed.
