Aston Martin has supplied the Formula 1 service fleet with a Vantage safety car sporting numerous aerodynamic and interior modifications. The powertrain has stayed stock.
Changes start on the outside with a new front bumper sporting a pronounced splitter and an impressive wing at the rear end. The company has even revised the floor panel layout and the light bar on the roof to optimize drag.
Inside, the stock seats made room for Recaro Pole Position buckets with multi-point safety harnesses. The entire car was then finished in the iconic British Racing Green color with lime green accents.
A glance at the dashboard reveals two extra displays for the co-driver, displaying real-time positions of all racecars on the track, their lap times, and the video feed from the rearview camera.
