Check out 1 of 9 Zagato-bodied Bentley Continental GTs

A rare Bentley Continental GT known as ‘GTZ by Zagato’ will cross the auction block in Saint Moritz, Switzerland in a few days. The coupe is 15 years old, but recently rebuilt with a touch over 5,000 km (3,100 miles) on the odo since then. The price is estimated at 400,000 – 600,000 Swiss francs, or $412,000 – $618,000 USD.

The grand tourer is said to be one of only nine units with custom Zagato bodywork. Back in late 2000s, the Continental GTZ (see video) was the first product of an official collaboration between the British automaker and the Italian coachbuilder. The first vehicle was exhibited at the Geneva International Motor Show 14 years ago, sporting a different roofline with a couple of Zagato’s trademark bulges, a redesigned rear end and new bumpers.

This particular car was only finished in the spring of 2016. Its owner put around 3,000 kilometers (1,860 miles) on it and sold it back to the shop after a year of use.

Powering the stock Bentley Continental GT Speed is a W12 engine rated at 600 PS (592 hp / 441 kW). The car makes use of 20-inch wheels and carbon-fiber brakes, among other cutting-edge tech. The owner says he paid €227,700 for the donor vehicle, which rose to €415,000 with the tuner’s costs included.
