Marvel at this 700-HP BMW M4 with a V8 under the hood

There is no denying that the BMW M4 is an adequately powered vehicle, but it lacks something important when compared to its rival, the Mercedes-AMG C 63 S: specifically, the two extra cylinders. ManTec Racing decided to remedy the situation.

In the end, the tuner gave the M4 Coupe the huge 4.4-liter twin-turbo V8 mill of the F10 MBW M5. After changing the downpipe and the exhaust system, as well as reprogramming the ECUs, the output rose to 700 hp (522 kW) and 800 Nm (590 lb-ft) of torque. This isn’t all, though, because the tuner is currently working on a Stage 2 kit that should bring along 900 hp (671 kW)!

Aside from the added punch, the show car boasts a full carbon body kit pieced together from different parts, M4 GTS forged wheels wrapped in Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 semi-slicks, and KW Variant 4 coilovers for the suspension.

Founded by Günther Manhart in 2012, ManTec Racing is not directly related to the famous tuner shop Manhart and deals almost exclusively with motorsports-oriented power tuning.
