In May this year, BMW tuner Manhart released the first images of its newest tuning kit for the Z4 M40i. Today, it released a video featuring the roadster in action.
The name of the car – MHZ4 440 – references the 440 horsepower (328 kilowatts) sourced from its three-liter, six-cylinder turbo engine courtesy of a chip tune.
Another major selling point of the kit is the so-called Emulator Control Module, which is responsible for the car’s rich and deep exhaust soundtrack.
The tuner claims the system counts among ‘the craziest exhaust mods out there’ and does not increase emissions, unlike some others do. For maximum effect, it is recommended to switch your Manhart MHZ4 440 to the Sport Plus mode.
