Take a look at this EPIC Chevrolet Corvette redesign

If you are a fan of cars released all the way back in the 1930s – Art Deco style, with elongated hoods and humongous fenders – then you just have to check out this unique Corvette Bella Elan Coupé.

The awesome tuning job was carried out by MJC Classic Cars. It took 250 days (over 6,000 hours!) to complete. Even though the vehicle is based on the 1988 Chevrolet Corvette platform, you will be challenged to spot it under the slew of modifications made.

In designing the fenders, the team drew inspiration from the original 1937 Chevrolet, while the 1959 model thereof inspired its lighting.

The interior has some features of the Audi TT, but many details look borrowed from other cars. Especially successful are the teakwood finish and the retro-styled steering wheel that fits the overall design of the car perfectly. It still packs a large amount of modern features, including sport seats, climate control, cruise control, LED headlights, and an infotainment system with a CD player.

The car is powered by a 5.7L V8 engine with unspecified characteristics.

The current auction price of the Corvette Bella Elan Coupé at eBay is around U.S. $27,500, but it is almost guaranteed to go up considerably before the closure.
