Rare, low-mileage Viper can be yours if you can stomach the $0.5M+ price

Barrett-Jackson will be selling this 2017 Dodge Viper ACR Snakeskin Green Edition in January 2026. The limited-run supercar has barely more than 1,300 kilometers (800 miles) under its belt and may fetch around $500,000 according to unofficial estimations.

The fifth generation of the Viper is rare as it is, with only 2,427 units shipped between 2013 and 2017. The track-focused ACR version is even more elusive, and only 31 units ended up finished in Snakeskin Green to celebrate the end of the production. Out of this batch of 31, the example seen here goes under number 22.

As extreme as the Dodge Viper already is from the factory, the ACR version tops it with adjustable Bilstein shock absorbers, Brembo brakes, performance tires and a unique aero kit complete with a rear wing. There was also an optional package called Extreme on offer, which the owner apparently didn’t invest in. It replaced the rear wing with an adjustable version, introduced a larger front splitter, added a diffuser and modified the way the coupe looked with numerous air louvers and vents.

Viper buyers could personalize their purchases a lot, but the ACR Snakeskin Green always came finished in its titular color with textured black stripes for accents. If you look closely, you’ll see that the texture resembles the pattern of snake skin, once again reinforcing the theme.

The interior received a dark trim and almost all the equipment Dodge offered for the model at the time, including an 8.4-inch infotainment touchscreen and a Harman Kardon audio system. As for the engine, the Viper’s standard 8.4-liter V10 continued to pump out its usual 654 PS (645 hp / 481 kW) to a six-speed manual transmission.
