A rather eccentric and attention-grabbing F-450 crossed the auction block in the United States the other day. Molded by Stretch My Truck into a stretch limo, the truck also received numerous mechanical improvements, partly explaining the $399,900 final selling price.
Working with the chassis, the tuner has somehow managed to top it with a 10-seat cab while also putting a nearly 2.5-meter (98-inch) long bed in the back. The suspension received a lift, and the arches were flared to accommodate humongous 46-inch tires. Having said that, the company recommends sticking to the truck’s “normal” 36-inch rubber for everyday driving.
Inside, a total of seven displays were added to keep all passengers entertained, an extra HVAC was installed for the back row, and a WiFi hotspot was implemented for those with gadgets. Other than that, the cabin has managed to stay surprisingly close to stock.
Peeking under the hood reveals Ford’s standard 6.7-liter Powerstroke V8 diesel with some aftermarket touches. These include a new intercooler, superior turbos and an ECU remap. There’s no word on how much it outputs, but the stock F-450 is no slouch with 482 PS (475 hp / 355 kW) and 1,424 Nm (1,050 lb-ft) of torque. The owner also ordered a huge 700-liter (185-gallon) fuel tank, so you can imagine how hungry the thing is for its diesel.
We were unable to find a suitable video demonstrating this bizarre machine in action, but you may want to check out the short vid above for a suspiciously similar-looking build. The poster claims it was carried out by a company called Anylevel and cost a ridiculous $3,000,000 to make.
