Ford has expanded its seventh-gen Mustang lineup with a $1,995 California Special package available for the GT Premium spec. It includes aesthetic tweaks for both the exterior and the cabin, but the engine stays stock.
The updated radiator grille, 19-inch wheels and the assorted badges all around are now highlighted in blue. The sides are also wearing accent stripes in two colors contrasting the main body color.
The seats come wrapped in Navy Pier and Ebony Black leather with blue stitching. The same accent tint can be found on the steering wheel, the doors, the center console and the dashboard.
For the engine, the standard 5.0-liter Coyote V8 rated at 493 PS (486 hp / 363 kW) and 566 Nm (417 lb-ft) of torque is your only option. You can still choose between six-speed manual and ten-speed automatic for the transmission.
The Ford Mustang GT California Special will make a live debut at the LA Auto Show starting next Thursday, November 16, 2023.
