Geely Vision X3 gains ‘Pro’ suffix heading into 2022

The Geely Vision X3 came out in China four years ago and is has now gone through its second facelift that left it with a ‘Pro’ suffix, along with numerous exterior and cabin updates.

Before we proceed, let’s point out that things stay stock under the hood. A 1.5-liter non-turbo engine hits the transmission (five-speed M/T or CVT) with 109 PS (107 hp / 80 kW) and 142 Nm (105 lb-ft) of torque. The drive is on the front axle, and the only addition here is a new fuel-conserving mode called Eco.

On the outside, the five-door hatchback has new bumpers and radiator grille, a black rear diffuser, and a Geely caption instead of logo between the taillights.

At 4,005 mm long, 1,760 mm wide and 1,575 tall with 2,480 mm between the axles and 185 mm of ground clearance, the dimensions stay exactly the same. The suspension (McPharson front, semi-dependent rear) also remains unchanged. Tires measure 205/60 R16, the car weighs between 1,180 and 1,215 kg depending on the spec, and the trunk volume is 400 liters.

Much has been revised inside, including the door panels and the selector knob. The eight-inch touchscreen is not integrated into the dashboard anymore, and there are hardware buttons under air vents aligned in a single row. The G-Link multimedia system now responds to voice commands and supports phones. A wireless charger is also included.

The dashboard remains non-digital, but the gauge layout and styling is different. The steering wheel, seats, console and handbrake remain the same.
