Haval H6L goes on sale in China

The new Haval H6L is essentially a non-electrified version of the mid-size Xiaolong Max crossover for China. It starts from 117,900 Yuan and is available with two engines to choose from, AutoHome.cn reports.

Aside from some front end styling and reworked c-pillars, the H6L looks identical to the Xiaolong Max. Coming in at 4.8 meters (187.5 inches) long, it is 155 mm (6 inches) longer than the standard H6 model. The interior houses a 14.6-inch infotainment display and a 12.3-inch digital dash screen. The transmission selector is mounted at the steering column, and a 10-inch heads-up display projects its image onto the windshield.

Customers in China choose from two engine sizes. The base 1.5-liter option comes bundled with a seven-speed DCT and front-wheel drive, making 184 PS (181 hp / 135 kW). The premium 2.0-liter version enjoys a superior nine-speed DCT and AWD, producing 238 PS (235 hp / 175 kW).

Depending on the trim level, standard and available features include adaptive cruise control, autonomous parking, voice assistance, air filtering, wireless phone charging, and up to 10 audio speakers.

The 1.5-liter version of the new Haval H6L ranges from the abovementioned 117,900 to 123,900 Yuan depending on the options. Its 2.0-liter counterpart starts at 133,900 and maxes out at 141,900 Yuan. Haval emphasizes that the H6L is considered a global product, so if the brand is represented in your country, you may see it on display in your local showroom sometime in 2026.
