The premium automaker has posted the first teaser image of the upcoming Infiniti QX65 crossover, claiming it to be a “revival of sorts” of the iconic FX lineup. It will debut next Thursday, March 26, and attend the NYIAS-2026 expo live from April 3, the company says. Sales are slated for June.
In the announcement, Infiniti claims the QX65 will be its first truly original vehicle in the past few years, and not just a rehash of an existing model. If you brighten up the image a bit like we did above, you’ll see a bumper and a radiator grille pattern that set the newcomer aside from its same-platform sibling, the QX60. If anything, it strongly resembles the QX65 Monograph Concept revealed last year.
Rumor has it that the base version of the SUV will feature a turbocharged four-cylinder engine rated at 272 PS (268 hp / 200 kW) and a nine-speed automatic transmission. Customers will be choosing between FWD and AWD. Later on, a 3.5-liter V6 version is expected with over 300 PS (296 hp / 221 kW) at its disposal. A beefed-up Red Sport variant is also possible, but keep in mind that all numbers are purely speculative at this point.
