A rare, virtually unused Lamborghini heading to auction in Germany

One out of just 20 Lamborghini Reventon supercars will cross the auction block in Munich in a month. No starting price has been announced, but with only 110 km (68 miles) on the odometer and one owner, the car is a collector’s dream.

The listing specifies that the German owner bought the Reventon, which was assembled in September 2008, for his private collection. It received proper maintenance in the same year and the year that followed, after which the owner had sadly neglected it until this July.

The car comes with a full set of OEM accessories – a bag, a key box, a key fob and a folding knife. All items are marked with the number 13 – the serial number of the chassis. A full-body cover is also included.

The Reventon (see video) premiered in Frankfurt 15 years ago. It was a spin-off from the Murcielago LP 640 model with a different body and cabin. It later turned out to be the predecessor of the iconic Aventador, which inherited many of its design traits.

Powered by a 6.5-liter V12, the supercar made 650 PS (641 hp / 478 kW), just 10 horsepower more than the Murcielago LP 640 was capable of. It sprinted 0-100 km/h (0-62 mph) in 3.4 seconds and maxed out as high as 340 km/h (211 mph).
