The Lexus RZ family of SUVs is greeting its latest member in Japan – the range-topping 600e F Sport Performance. It is coming to the local market in early spring flaunting a carbon-fiber body kit and a superior motor setup.
Up until recently, the 550 e F Sport spec remained at the pinnacle of the lineup with 408 PS (402 hp / 300 kW) heading to all four wheels. The newcomer tops it with 425 PS (419 hp / 313 kW) and 536 Nm (395 lb-ft) of torque, sprinting 0-100 km/h (0-62 mph) in 4.4 seconds.
The battery size stays at 77 kWh, but the range remains solid at 525 km (326 miles) pr charge. The EV ships with 21-inch Enkei wheels, six-piston brake calipers, larger brake rotors and a 20mm (0.8-inch) reduction in ride height all included as standard.
Added aerodynamic splitters, decorative carbon trims and two rear spoilers make this RZ immediately stand out from its lesser brethren. Unlike the base spec (see video), it also boasts a lightweight carbon-fiber roof. The interior makes do with a sportier trim theme and improved front seat padding, while the rest remains unchanged.
Prices will start from the equivalent of U.S. $78,000.
