Lucid, the budding electric carmaker best known for its Air saloon, is now working on a pickup truck to make it company, a post on Lucid Forum claims. The accompanying image allegedly shows the vehicle itself, but the poster says the actual production may not begin anytime soon.
The truck body seen here lacks wheels and sits next to another prototype looking like the Lucid Gravity SUV. Both look a bit like life-size mockups of cars, rather than actual drivable prototypes. The Gravity remains slated for Los Angeles show premiere later this week.
A closer look at the truck reveals an understated profile with smooth, flowing lines and an Air-like front end (watch the video for a comparison).
Rumor has it that Lucid plans to release as many as seven production EVs by the end of the decade, including a pickup, an SUV, a second sedan, a coupe and a body-on-frame off-roader.
