Chinese customers in the market for a Lynk & Co 03 may now pay a premium to get the so-called Large Rear Wing Edition. As the name implies, it comes equipped with a sizable wing to make it look like the range-topping 03+ model – if little else.
The wing is made from carbon fiber and offers three preset positions for manual setting – 0, 8, and 16 degrees relative to the road. It comes adorned with the lettering that says “Downforce” and a schematic depiction of China’s Ningbo Circuit. Just whether it actually provides a meaningful amount of downforce doesn’t seem to be stated anywhere, though.
The interior of the special edition comes trimmed in red and black. Popping the hood reveals the old 2.0-liter turbocharged four-pot routing 272 PS (268 hp / 200 kW) to the wheels via an 8AT. Accelerating from zero to 100 km/h (62 mph) takes 6.5 seconds. For perspective, the model 03+ mentioned above manages to hit the same acceleration in 5.9 seconds, while its track-only modification does a 4.8-second sprint.
