Lynk & Co 10 EM-P drops disguise in China

Lynk & Co has unveiled its large hybrid vehicle known as the 10 EM-P. It’s basically a plug-in hybrid version of the fully electric Lynk & Co Z10, AutoHome.cn reports.

We are told that the car will ship with a three-motor powertrain and two battery packs to choose from. All prices are pending, with rumors predicting 200,000 Yuan for the base spec.

The hybrid cousin of the Z10 utilizes a 1.5-liter turbo engine with a thermal efficiency higher than 47%. Two e-motors assist the engine for a combined output of 530 PS (523 hp / 390 kW) and 755 Nm (557 lb-ft) of torque. Launching it from standstill to 100 km/h (62 mph) is a matter of 5.1 seconds.

The smaller battery pack holds 18.4 kilowatt-hours of juice and is enough for 120 km (75 miles) of all-electric range. Its larger 38.4-kWh counterpart effectively doubles the range. Charging both from 30 to 80 percent full is possible in 15 minutes. On the same page, Lynk & Co mentions adaptive per-wheel suspension.

The whole car is sized 5,050 mm x 1,966 mm x 1,487 mm (197.3 x 76.8 x 58.1 inches) large. The wheelbase amounts to a fairly standard 3,005 mm (117.4 inches). New exterior trim makes the EV 22 mm (0.86”) longer and 19 mm (0.74”) taller than the Z10, but the differences are frankly minimal. Wheels are available in sizes up to 21 inches.

Trim-wise, buyers may look forward to an infotainment system with a large display and a HUD, a Harman Kardon audio system with as many as 23 speakers, a 5.7-liter fridge and an ADAS package with 700 TOPS of processing power. All seats ship with power adjustments, ventilation and massage functions.
