Mansory turns an Audi RS 6 Avant into a supercar devourer

The current C8 generation of the RS 6 Avant breaks the mold as far as the “boring family wagon” stereotype is concerned. With up to 630 PS (621 hp / 463 kW) and 850 Nm (627 lb-ft) of torque going to the wheels, it’s a riot to drive. Still not enough? Call Mansory, they have something just for you.

The German tuner’s latest project involves boosting the car’s 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 to whopping 1,100 PS (1,085 hp / 809 kW) and 1,250 Nm (922 lb-ft) of torque. There is no mention of any sprint times, but the stock wagon goes 0-100 km/h (0-62 mph) in barely more than three seconds, so it should be plenty fast regardless.

On the exterior side of things, the Mansory RS 6 looks like you’d expect it to. There is a bulky front end decorated with forged carbon, redesigned front arches, low-slung side skirts and aftermarket mirror caps, just to name a few modifications. The rear end is no less ostentatious with a couple of tailgate spoilers, a sporty diffuser and a third brake light in the middle.

Rounding off the look are forged five-Y-spoke wheels allowing a glimpse at teal brake calipers. The interior is likewise awash with teal leather, which covers almost every surface in view. Rare applications of more traditional-looking carbon fiber details on the dashboard, the center console and the transmission tunnel help the eyes anchor to something solid in this shifting sea of color. Bespoke stitching, perforation and white accents liven things up a bit, too.

How do you like this Avant?
