Maserati reveals more details on its Alfieri supercar

Maserati has released several interesting bits of information concerning the Alfieri supercar it is currently developing, including engine options and availability.

The Maserati Alfieri comes front-driven and is only loosely based on the namesake concept car that debuted in 2014. It uses a lightweight modular chassis made of aluminum. There will be multiple powertrain options, including gasoline, hybrid, and all-electric.

According to the company, lightning-fast acceleration will be among the main features of the upcoming Maserati Alfieri. Allegedly, regardless of your powertrain choice, the vehicle will be able to bolt from standstill to 100 km/h (62 mph) in two seconds flat. Its top going speed isn’t being discussed yet, but it will definitely go far beyond 300 km/h (186 mph).

Production will begin in the fourth quarter of 2020.
