McLaren Special Operations has designed an exclusive version of the Artura Spider to commemorate the British automaker’s 10th triumph at the F1 Constructors’ Cup. Only 10 examples will be made.
Every car will get an orange and black livery applied by hand to resemble the exterior of the McLaren MCL39 that won the last year’s event. They will also be adorned with number “10” motifs and outlines of the vehicles that brought McLaren its previous nine CC victories.
Super-Lightweight Dynamo wheels and a track-focused exhaust system will round off the list of exterior upgrades. The cabin gets number 10 ornaments on the seat backs and autographs of the winning drivers on the sides. The trim involves lots of quality Nappa leather, artificial suede, and a pinch of carbon fiber.
Power for the Artura Spider Championship edition continues to be provided by a 3.0-liter twin-turbo V6 assisted by an electric system. With 600 PS (592 hp / 441 kW) at its disposal, the car hits 100 km/h (62 mph) from zero in three seconds flat.
It’s unknown when the first deliveries may be made and what the prices are.
