Check out the Maybach Coupe that once belonged to Samuel Eto’o

The coupe version of the Maybach 57S is quite unique as is with only eight units in existence, but this specific example used to belong to the football star Samuel Eto’o.

Xenatec carried out the conversion. The original production plans included a hundred units, but Mercedes ended up only making eight before wrapping up the project. Mu'ammar Al-Qadhdhafi, former president of Libya, ordered one for himself but never lived to drive it.

Eto’o claimed his black coupe with a white-and-black cabin and carbon-fiber accents eleven years ago. The car came equipped with a Bose audio system, a fridge, navigation software, mini-tables for the rear bench occupants, and a couple of phones.

Toiling under the hood was a six-liter, twin-turbo V12 that hit the rear wheels with 612 PS (603 hp / 450 kW) and 1000 Nm (738 lb-ft) of torque through a five-speed automatic transmission.

The car has 13,500 kilometers (8,388 miles) on the clock and costs €795,000.
