The name ‘Mercedes-Maybach S-Class’ may evoke associations with elegance and refinement, but there are owners who think their luxury ride has no business looking so tame. What usually follows is, well, this.
Known as a Mercedes S 680 Manufaktur in its past life, the saloon was overhauled by Mansory. Inevitably, it landed with a body kit including front air intake trims, multiple spoilers, aerodynamic skirts and a rear diffuser. The tuner normally uses naked carbon fiber for these parts, but it’s kind of ambiguous here because every last bit is painted to match the body.
A peek inside the arches reveals 22-inch, rally-styled wheels listed as the Mansory FD.15. Like the tailpipe finishers, they wear a coat of Baby Blue.
If you find yourself fleeing from this sea of blue, look no further than the cabin. It is trimmed in a surprisingly stylish white/black combo and actually doesn’t look cheap. For the engine, Mansory offers a tune-up to 720 PS (710 hp / 530 kW) and 1,000 Nm (738 lb-ft) of torque, but we are not sure whether this particular S 680 received it or not.
