One out of 520 Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren soft-tops produced is up for grabs in the USA right now. The seller claims that it was the only supercar from the batch ordered in yellow color and that it has 61 miles (98 km) on the odo since 2008. There is no asking price, but the listing mentions the original buying price – around $573,000.
Apparently, the original owner explicitly asked for the car to be finished in their favorite color, yellow. The cloth top, the brake calipers and the leather/carbon-fiber seats inside are offset in red.
Power for the exotic roadster comes from its stock 5.4-liter V8 rated at 626 PS (617 hp / 460 kW) and 780 Nm (575 lb-ft) of torque. The manufacturer-rated top speed is 332 km/h (206 mph).
Mercedes has produced a total 2,157 SLR supercars in different body styles in 2003–2010. A handful of special editions has also come out, and those are typically valued higher than the normal cars.
