Check out a badass Pontiac Fiero GT restomod with Lamborghini doors

Ultrace is an annual automotive industry event in Poland attended by dozens of tuned sports car owners from all across the country. This year’s show was memorable thanks to a gorgeous Pontiac Fiero GT restomod that its creator even put inside a glass box like some kind of precious museum exhibit.

The original car was restored and outfitted with a custom widebody kit, as well as new side sills, a pronounced front spoiler with canards and an all-new rear end emanating sporty aggression. The new parts fit seamlessly into the design of the original and complement its aesthetic instead of clashing with it.

The two main highlights on the outside are turbine-shaped multi-piece wheels by OZ Racing and Lamborghini-style lifting doors. The interior is frugal and dominated by stainless-steel and aluminum bits. Sparco bucket seats come with racing harnesses, and there is a yellow roll cage directly behind them. The rear part of the glass dome appears to be missing entirely – perhaps to shave off some more weight.

Unless we are mistaken, the car still relies on its standard 2.8-liter V6 for propulsion. Barring any tuning, the mill should be hitting the wheels with its OEM-rated 146 PS (144 hp / 107 kW).
