Singer switches restored Porsche 911 to four-wheel drive

U.S.-based Porsche restoration shop Singer Vehicle Design has built another opulent Porsche 911 (964) Targa, giving it AWD this time around.

The sports car comes powered by the same four-liter inline-six engine as many of its peers, which can rev all the way up to 9,000 RPM. The tuner does not disclose any power-related figures, but 500+ hp (375+ kW) is the norm for this drivetrain type.

The Dark Battleship Grey paintjob this particular Targa is wearing hides the fact that it actually has an all-new, ultra-expensive carbon fiber body. To look at it, one might think the dual tailpipes in the middle of the rear diffuser are the only custom addition. True Porsche aficionados will instantly tell that this is not the case, though.

The interior is something special altogether. Oxblood Red leather adorned with a diamond pattern covers every visible surface and extends as far as the trunk AND the engine bay. The bucket seats are also made of carbon fiber.

It remains unannounced how much the unique Porsche 911 the Warren Commission cost its owner.
