Used 2015 Porsche 918 Spyder goes on sale priced higher than new

This six-year-old Porsche 918 Spyder is the 238th out of 918 examples produced, has 2,330 km (1,448 miles) under its belt, and is currently being offered for £895,000.

Translated into European currency, the amount the seller asks for is roughly €1.04 million, a healthy bump over the €645,000 launch price. The supercar shipped to its Hong Kong buyer in 2015 and was imported into the UK for years later. The latest maintenance was performed earlier this month.

The car comes painted yellow with green brake calipers. The interior is dominated by black leather interspersed with carbon-fiber details and green accents. There are two dozen options on board, including body kit parts, an automatic front suspension lift system for speed bumps, custom seats, and a Burmester audio system.

Power comes from a part-electric system incorporating a 4.6-liter V8 and two electric motors. Reaching 100 km/h (62 mph) is a trifling matter of 2.6 seconds, and the top speed lies as high above as 344 km/h (213.8 mph).

A similar supercar went on sale in Russia last year after having been imported from the Middle East with a touch over 5,000 km (3,107 miles) on the odo. Despite the mileage, the asking price was even higher.
