Unique Rolls-Royce Hyperion still looking for an owner for €9M+

AL Ain Class Motors, a luxury car dealership based in Dubai, UAE, is selling a one-off roadster named the Rolls-Royce Hyperion. Built by Pininfarina against a custom order in 2008, it went up on sale last year priced at €4,265,000. It has now cropped up again with a cool €9,286,000 sticker attached.

Autoevolution believes the new price might actually elevate the status of the unique car in the eyes of prospective buyers, leading to a faster sale. This remains to be seen.

At its core, the Hyperion is a Drophead Coupe custom-made for Roland Hall, a collector from the UK. It has been stylistically altered from stock with a shorter rear overhang, a displaced windshield and a removed back seat row.

A 6.75-liter V12 sends 460 PS (454 hp / 338 kW) to the wheels through a six-speed automatic transmission.

As soon as it was complete, the Hyperion proceeded to change hands multiple times. None of its numerous owners has actually ever driven it, though, leaving it with 177 km (110 miles) on the odometer.
