DAMD Japan has announced two body kitts for the Suzuki XBee Kei car, one inspired by the modern Land Rover Defender and the other one by the Suzuki Alto Lapin.
The first kit, called simply Little.D, includes an upsized radiator grille, a branded hood cover, new headlight surrounds and a reshaped front bumper. Usually this is where the styling effort ends for most cheap JDM cars, but this one additionally gets Defender-style taillight bezels, custom doors and assorted body decals. Further options include rally-style aluminum wheels and an expedition rack.
The other package, Bemore, gives off a strong retro vibe with its beige and cream overtones. Included are a new front bumper with a large air intake in the middle, a rather minimal radiator grille and a chin spoiler. A roof rack and two-tone wheels are listed under extras.
Both kits can be ordered along with a full interior overhaul in Japan, which seems to involve imitation leather and checkered fabric.
Ordering opens this Friday, July 10th. The Little.D starts from just under ¥300,000 ($1,850), and the Bemore is listed from ¥154,000 ($950), but almost doubles in price with all option boxes ticked.
