Superior Tuning: TOM’s Toyota Supra A90

The latest Supra draws attention of tuners from all around the world, but Japanese shop TOM’s really turns it into something rather special.

The bluish-green show car wears its gorgeous widebody kit like a shawl, somehow managing to come across as extreme and elegant all at once. The sleek, curvy silhouette and the utter lack of exposed hardware are partly to thank for the latter part.

TOM’s keeps the stock front apron intact, but overlays it with a large spoiler with canards down both sides. The much-hated fake air intakes (the A90 Supra has thirteen of these!) vanish under decorative panelwork, and the flared wheel arches look about as aerodynamic as they get. An  exquisite rear diffuser houses new exhaust tips, and a racing-spec rear wing crowns the whole thing.

The car rides on 20-inch Vossen Forged wheels that make the best use of their space within the arches thanks to lowered suspension. Yellow accents on the rims cater for the necessary contrast.

TOM’s briefly mentions a fully custom interior and an engine upgrade to 450 hp (336 kW) and 580 Nm (428 lb-ft) of torque without providing much further detail.
