Aston Martin spied testing its ultra-rare DBS GT Zagato

Here are some spy shots of the Aston Martin DBS GT Zagato, a collector’s piece that debuted last year and will see a production run of 19 units as part of the DBZ Centenary Collection.

The demo vehicle (see video for details) had a vivid red paintjob, a ‘breathing’ radiator grille design with 108 moving carbon fiber elements, and a largely 3D printed cabin. In contrast, the test car has mundane grille and interior, as well as a simple unpainted carbon body.

The DBS GT Zagato coupe will only be available bundled with a replica of the DB4 GT Zagato racecar. It was the latter model that brought the British carmaker and the Italian coachbuilder and tuner together six decades ago. The DBZ Centenary Collection duo costs £6,000,000.
