A nicely restored BMW M3 from the famous E30 series is up for grabs in New York State right now with the top bid at $60,000 and a day remaining.
The car wears a lighter shade of silver than it was when new and has a tasteful body kit installed including a small rear wing, a carbon front spoiler and AC Schnitzer side mirror caps. The radiator grille ‘kidneys’ are also of aftermarket origin.
Filling out the arches are BBS three-piece wheels with polished rims. The suspension has been thoroughly revamped with new shocks, sway bars and height-adjustable coilovers.
Inside, the seats have been re-trimmed with black leather, and the equipment on board in is functioning properly. This includes HVAC and power windows, among other things. The instruments want to make us believe that the speed goes to 260 km/h (160 mph) and the rev counts all the way to 8,000 RPM, but the reality is such that there is still the old S14 four-pot under the hood churning out its usual 200 PS (197 hp / 147 kW).
