German tune-up shop Manhart will soon proceed to release tuning components for the newest BMW M3 sedan and M4 coupe. Aside from purely aesthetic touches, both will benefit from tech and engine upgrades.
Both models are due a carbon fiber hood, a splitter, a diffuser, a spoiler, and side flaps. An interesting highlight comes in the form of golden pinstripes running all over the body. The sleek and elegant lines serve to emphasize the sporty design of the coupe while taking the attention away from the disproportionately large nostril grille. Juxtaposed against the black body of the Manhart M4 coupe, they look especially stylish.
As for the power, owners of the Competition versions should be looking forward to a boost to 620 PS (611 hp / 456 kW) and 750 Nm (553 lb-ft) of torque. Regular M versions will have to make do with around 590 PS (582 hp / 434 kW). Further technical upgrades will include performance brakes, H&R lowering springs, and custom wheels.
The launch dates of the MH3 600 and MH4 600 kits are still pending. Manhart hints that a more substantial power upgrade is in the works as well.
