BMW M5 gets a Mansory-style aero kit in the United States

California-based aftermarket company West Coast Customs has come up with a bold and aggressive body kit for the G90 BMW M5. At a glance, you may think the car graduated from the Mansory School of Understatement, but it is its own thing.

The main similarity, of course, comes in the form of forged-carbon parts. The sedan boasts all-new bumpers both front and rear, a ventilated hood, new side skirts, a sported-up rear diffuser and an unexpectedly restrained trunk spoiler. The whole body was reimagined in a darker, cooler shade of green, but the company neglected to reveal whether it was a wrap or paintwork.

It seems that the interior and the drivetrain stayed stock. This isn’t necessarily an issue, since the latest M5 is capable of 850 PS (838 hp / 625 kW) and 1,150 Nm (848 lb-ft) of torque. Despite its considerable weight, the sedan sprints from zero to 100 km/h (62 mph) in 3.4 seconds, while the Touring version takes only one-tenth of a second longer.

There has been no mention of the pricing, but the standard M5 starts from $121,900 for the new model year.
