The all-electric Cadillac Celestiq has hit the public roads, but the disguise it is wearing makes it hard to draw conclusions.
The matter is, apart from a nifty wrap pattern, the test vehicle has fake bodywork installed that distorts the shapes of its bumpers, sides and lighting. Still, since the company said it wanted to have the production car ready by the end of the year, there is hope that it will begin shedding camo soon enough.
The assembly will take place at the General Motors Global Technical Center, which is currently undergoing an $81,000,000 USD upgrade to support the production of the Celestiq.
Watch the embedded video if you missed the premiere of the Celestiq prototype in late July. It is shaping up to be a large and luxury-laden EV capable of competing with select Bentley and Rolls-Royce vehicles. The specifications remain unannounced, but we already know on official terms that the dash display inside is 55 inches large and that the sunroof is dimmable on a per-segment basis.
