Cadillac Escalade-V gets dialed to 962 PS on pump gas

Late Model Racecraft has produced another super-SUV for a client, this time around based on the large and luxurious Cadillac Escalade-V.

The client in question is one Mr. Ford, from South Carolina. According to AutoEvolution, he found his soft-roader’s 691 PS (682 hp / 508 kW) and 885 Nm (653 lb-ft) of torque somewhat lackluster.

The LMR team then rebuilt his 6.2-liter supercharged V8 to a Stage IV spec using a cold air intake system, an upgraded supercharger, a large throttle body, high-performance catalytic converters and other modern components like that.

In the end, the Caddy luxobarge churned out 962 PS (950 hp / 708 kW) at the crank, out of which nearly 810 PS (800 hp / 596 kW) reached the rear wheels. The tuner never posted any sprint time measurements, but the Escalade is good enough to go from zero to 100 km/h (62 mph) in 4.4 seconds fully stock. That’s impressive for a vehicle weighing in at 2.9 metric tons (6,350 lbs).

No pricing details were released, but LMR seems eager to process similar orders, so you only need to ask.
