Insiders: Next-gen Chevy Camaro isn’t coming

Despite earlier promises, everything points to Chevrolet not planning to release another generation of the Camaro anytime soon.

According to insider reports, the company had sketched up the new generation along with its marketing strategy and presented it to the board of directors. However, the executives found the car “uninspiring” and not viable for production. As a result, it was shelved until better times, the reports say.

The current Camaro generation, seen in the gallery and the video here, officially bowed out of production in late 2023.
