Citroen used this year’s Caravan Salon as an opportunity to unveil Type Holidays, a concept van based on the latest SpaceTourer that manages to combine modern features with retro charms.
The design nods back to the company’s Type H lineup of vehicles that used to be popular in the past century. Modifications include a pop-up top, a living area for four people, a kitchen accessible from both the inside and the outside, a dining room, and more.
Do note that the Type Holidays is still a design study and doesn’t have any release date or detailed specifications. Still, the company stresses that it intends to produce a whole lineup of vans united under a new sub-brand, Holidays, so chances are good it will be considered for production.
More details are coming in late 2023, Citroen says.
