A bunch of zero-mileage 2018 Dodge Challenger SRT Demons goes up on sale

The Dodge Challenger SRT Demon came out in a limited run of 3,330 units, and it looks like a dealership in South California had 16 three-year-old examples just sitting around waiting for prices to go up.

The Demon had been in production from late 2017 to mid-2018 and started at U.S. $84,995. Its impressive specifications along with the rarity factor prompted many exotic ride fans to shell out hundreds of thousands of dollars for aftermarket examples, though, so maybe this was why the dealership decided to hold on to the stock for a while longer.

When the 2018 Demon debuted, it rocked the most powerful engine found on a muscle car – a 6.2-liter Hellcat V8 dialed up to 850 PS (838 hp / 625 kW). The coupe was specifically designed for amateur drag racing: with an upgraded gearbox, high-performance semi-slicks and a suspension adjusted for lightning-fast launches, it was indeed a formidable drag strip weapon.
