Zacoe redefines modern BMW M2 with a styling upgrade
August 21, 2024
Überblick
Dodge brought back the Charger 16 years ago and the Challenger two years after that. Both used to be assembled in Canada, but this may change by 2023.
The opinion originated from Joe McCabe, CEO of U.S.-based consulting firm AutoForecast Solutions. In a recent interview, McCabe said such a decision would be in line with the EV development strategy recently revealed by Stellantis Group.
He opined that the Canada factory might end up idling in the near future, because the Chrysler 300 sedan also looks like it may leave production soon.
Stellantis plans to launch a range of electric cars, including versions of the Ram 1500 pickup truck and an unspecified Dodge muscle car. While details remain to be established, the corporation did mention that the Dodge would ship with dual electric motors rated between 204 and 449 PS (201 – 443 hp; 150 – 330 kW) each.
