F1 racecar builder Dash begins processing custom orders

Dash-CAE, a UK-based firm with experience in Formula 1 vehicle engineering, is now accepting bespoke supercar commissions. The first example will debut at the Goodwood Festival of Speed on July 10–13, according to Top Gear.

Back in 2023, the company showed us an early version of its TR01 chassis developed specifically to accommodate custom performance cars. It featured a lightweight and durable carbon-fiber monocoque that, according to its designers, could lend itself equally well to a track-focused vehicle and a street-legal supercar. The chassis was built to comply with the Euro NCAP safety standards and to take both ICE and EV powertrains.

The company’s firstborn is called the SlipStream. It is a mid-engined car powered by a high-end Hartley V8 built in New Zealand. The same company supplied the V12 for Sasha Selipanov’s Nilu27. Dash Bespoke developed and fabricated carbon subframes for the build and put Nitron shock absorbers into the suspension.

All other details are pending. We don’t even have any bodywork photos to show you yet, so stay tuned for the Thursday reveal.
