Liberty Walk has its way with a Ferrari F8 Tributo

The polarizing JDM tuner has procured a rare Ferrari F8 Tributo and wrapped it in a tender blue wrap. Never one to leave good enough alone, it also added bolt-on fenders and a giant ducktail spoiler in the back.

The closer you look, the more wild modifications spring into view. There’s a huge front spoiler to match the one at the rear end, slammed suspension and ultrawide rims sporting a gloss-black finish. A look behind the dual spokes reveals yellow brake calipers.

We are used to Liberty Walk never touching the interiors of its cars, so this one comes across as a bit of a surprise. The whole passenger space, including the seats, the door panels and the steering wheel, is wrapped in premium leather closely color-matched to the exterior. Ferrari logos can be seen on the headrests. Since the company isn’t exactly known for its trim makeovers, we suppose this F8 could be a result of a collaboration.

Likewise, it’s a bit surprising that the 3.9-liter twin-turbo V8 remains stock. Once again, it’s not because the Tributo is by any means underpowered, but because the tuning company can’t leave things alone. Well, we’d imagine the owner still being perfectly happy with their 720-PS (710-hp / 530-kW) engine taking the car from zero to 100 km/h (62 mph) in less than three seconds. With a top speed reaching 340 km/h (211 mph) under the right conditions, it’s not a vehicle in dire need of a tune-up.
