The average Ferrari car buyer these days is a young person.
According to the CEO of the company, around 40% of all customers who bought new Ferraris in 2024 were under 40 years old. For comparison, the same was true for only 30% of the buyers in 2023. This indicate that the brand might have become more appealing to the younger demographics.
There’s another possible explanation: investors. Ferrari admitted that in 2024, 81% of the cars it sold went to its regular customers. Furthermore, 48% of these people already had two of more Prancing Horses sitting in their garage. This statistic doesn’t corroborate the suggestion that Ferrari somehow became more appealing to the youth.
