Fisker has announced an option package for its all-electric SUV, Ocean. Called Force E, it will be obtainable as a retrofit pack and already preinstalled on a new car.
The first images of the off-road-capable Ocean SUV were released earlier this month, but it is only now that the company followed up with some additional photos and specifics.
The kit includes new 20-inch wheels wrapped in 33-inch tires, redesigned bumpers with towing eyes, extra undercarriage protection, special shock absorbers and original body graphics. The ground clearance has been improved, too, but the company hasn’t mentioned by how much.
Aside from that, the new Ocean offers a dedicated Off-Road drive mode, which all existing owners can install via an over-the-air update. The expedition rack shown in the gallery here is a separately purchasable option.
The Force E is scheduled to reach the market in the first quarter of 2024. No pricing details have been revealed. At first, only the $69,000+ Extreme spec and the One Edition will be offered with these modifications. Later on, the $50,000+ Ultra spec will join the list. As for the $37,500 Ocean Sport, Fisker says it has no intention to offer the off-road package with this budget-priced FWD spec.
