Ford Performance has rolled out a power kit for the latest F-150 Coyote V8 model. Called FP700, it can bolster the output of the five-liter mill to be on par with the Raptor R spec along with bringing certain visual improvements.
The kit costs $12,350 and is compatible with all trucks produced in 2021 through 2023, except for those equipped with the Pro Power Onboard system (auxiliary electric power generation for households and appliances). A 3.0-liter Whipple supercharger drives the engine from its stock 405 PS (400 hp / 299 kW) and 556 Nm (410 lb-ft) of torque to 710 PS (700 hp / 522 kW) and 800 Nm (590 lb-ft) of torque. The acceleration times remain unannounced, though.
To put things into perspective, the F-150 Raptor spec uses a 3.5-liter V6 turbocharged to 457 PS (451 hp / 336 kW) and 690 Nm (509 lb-ft) of torque. The range-topping Raptor R benefits from a 5.2-liter Predator V8 mill delivering an identical 710 PS (700 hp / 522 kW) and marginally more peak torque with 868 Nm (640 lb-ft).
Among other things, all FP700 buyers are eligible to choose between Bronze Edition and Black Edition for the body trim – both add custom graphics to the sides of the truck along with new 22-inch wheels. Further options include a black radiator grille, Ford Performance trims on the side vents, new floor mats and other accessories.
