Unhinged 1,014-PS Ford F-150 in Neon Green gets a production run

SPEC Design Company has come to this month’s SEMA show with a rather extreme take on the single-cab Ford F-150. It has now posted a video and some further details concerning the project, including the planned production run.

All prices are private, but plans exist for 25 such vehicles. All get a Coyote V8 supercharged from its usual 406 PS (400 hp / 298 kW) all the way to 1,014 PS (1,000 hp / 746 kW). A custom Magnuson supercharger setup had to be developed specifically for the project, the company says. While no sprint times have been revealed, the truck should be a bit faster even than the Raptor R version, which packs 730 PS (720 hp / 537 kW) and goes from zero to 96.6 km/h (60 mph) in 3.6 seconds.

To emphasize the modifications, SPEC Design suggests a bold carbon-fiber aero kit fabricated by Anderson Composites. It comprises both parts finished in body-matching Neon Green color and naked-carbon details, but buyers are free to request their own, custom finishes.

Complementing the sporty exterior are a custom suspension setup from QA1 Motorsports and a Rotora brake system featuring carbon-ceramic rotors alongside eight-piston front calipers. The example seen here rides on 22-inch Forgeline VV1R-CL Monoblock wheels shod in Toyo Tires Proxes ST III tires sized 335/40, but other options likely exist as well.
