Shelby F-250 Super Baja gets some facial surgery for 2026

Two years ago, Shelby American briefly switched its attention away from tuning Mustangs to introduce us to an F-250 Super Baja truck (see video). This model has now been refreshed with the latest F-250 pickup at its base.

Only 250 units will be made and offered starting from around $160,000 donor vehicle already included in the price. Heavy-duty anti-sway bars, new control arms, remote-reservoir shocks at the rear end and coilovers at the front end sum up the biggest suspension upgrades. For even better overlanding capabilities, the Shelby F-250 runs on 20-inch aftermarket wheels shod in 37-inch BFGoodrich tires.

On the exterior side of things, there’s no mistaking the truck for your average, run-of-the-mill F-250. An aggressive-looking rugged body kit, extra lights all around and a new radiator grille with Shelby lettering let everyone know it’s very, very special. Flared fenders, a ventilated hood and power-assisted running boards complement the look. If you wish, you may order a spare wheel holder for two wheels installed into the bed.

All power continues to be sourced from a 6.7-liter diesel V8 rated at 500 PS (493 hp / 368 kW) and 1,625 Nm (1,200 lb-ft) of torque. The transmission is 10-speed automatic, and the drive is on all four wheels – as it’s supposed to be in any self-respecting project like this.

Ordering is already available.
